This past Tuesday, March 10th, the Northeast region held their inaugural Acumatica User Group at Cloud 9 ERP Solutions Head Quarters in Stamford, CT. The Acumatica User Group is led by Acumatica Gold Certified Partner: Cloud 9 ERP Solutions and Acumatica Partner: CAL Business Solutions.

The group didn’t just attend for savory wraps and wedges and delicious Stew Leonard’s cookies, though that alone was plenty enjoyed. The agenda consisted of Live Acumatica Product Demonstrations featured around the brand new 2020 R1 Version, set to release in the next week or two.

The users were able to leisurely ask questions and get on-the-spot answers from Gregg Mercede, CEO of Cloud 9 ERP Solutions, as he went through the upgraded functionality of the Inventory Matrix, Import Scenario improvements, the new features of the CRM workflow automation, the highly-favored new ability to cancel and correct invoices, the simple-to-configure enhancements in the use of the tab key – saving users time in data entry, the ability to customize real-time data retrieval of dashboard widgets, and the percentage of totals in custom pivot tables.

I liked being able to talk solutions with other Acumatica users as well as having direct access to the PAM” wrote one user on the post-user group feedback survey. “I enjoyed the low-key atmosphere and positive energy” wrote another. For those of you reading who are new to the Acumatica world, each region has a “PAM” or the direct connection to Acumatica for partners. Dinesh Jain, the Northeast Acumatica PAM was present at our Northeast User Group event on Tuesday, offering the opportunity of relaxed communication and direct answers.

President and CEO of PANOVA, Ehren Dimitry, presented his journey before implementing Acumatica the Cloud ERP, and what challenges he faced using legacy systems and separated solutions. Ehren shared his Customer Success Story using Acumatica and his choice of partner, Cloud 9 ERP Solutions, with the group. This brought inspiration to users of varying experience: those who are currently undergoing implementation to those who have been customers of Acumatica for years.
